In 2021, over 2.5 million children experienced homelessness in the United States, with nearly 1.4 million living in shelters or non-traditional settings (National Alliance to End Homelessness). Indiana ranks 23rd in the nation with a homeless student population of 19,205. Of the 19,205, 2,546 reside in shelters, 375 are unsheltered, 1,001 are unaccompanied homeless youth, and 3,554 are students with disabilities. These vulnerable children often face significant challenges with mental health, self-esteem, and educational achievement. Our customized events aim to instill a sense of self-worth, resilience, and belonging, while positively impacting their emotional and psychological well-being.
